
This year marks the return of this high quality series of criteriums (spectator-friendly competitive cycling events) and cycling road races in towns, villages and the rural countryside of Chester County, Pennsylvania. The annual ten day festival celebrates cycling, showcases Chester County and promotes the National Velodrome being planned for Coatesville.
All venues are returning for 2013 with a new addition in Eagle, PA. The nine event series will begin on July 4 with the return of the popular Chesco Road Race and holiday barbeque at historic Brooklawn in Unionville horse country, and will end on Sunday, July 14 with the Kinetic Chesco Tour for recreational cyclists.
Designed to bring people into town on a summer evening, the entertaining 4 to 5 hour criteriums will again include music, professional announcing, celebrity appearances, youth races and more.

Here's the Plan for Road Closures on ThursdayAccording to the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce:
- Traffic restrictions will begin in the 100 Block of Starr Avenue at 2 p.m.
- All other traffic restrictions in the area will begin at 4 p.m.
- The race course is bounded by Bridge and Church streets and by Starr and Gay Streets.
- For safety, there will be NO PARKING on the course from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Residents or Businesses who live or park within the boundaries of the course may still drive their cars out of the course at designated course crossing areas. There will be marshals directing cars across the course at Prospect St and Gay St.
