Filmmaker Josh Hankins, a resident of Lancaster Pennsylvania, recently completed a short film about The Phoenixville Firebird Festival. The film was culled from footage of the 10th annual festival and shot during the months of October, November, and December 2013.

Henrik Stubbe Teglbjaerg, festival founder / organizer, is interviewed throughout the film and speaks about his interest in freedom of expression and the arts. He states, "I grew up in Denmark where we have all this tradition and how you’re supposed to do things, but here (in America) there's this blank slate where anything is possible and you can come up with a crazy idea and run with it."

Hankins said, "I am always interested in the creative ideas that people and groups come up with. This was one project that really shows the passion of people in a small town."
