While living in Thailand teaching English abroad, and stealing some recipes as a chef always does, Jaime Giacomo began experiencing headaches. Still, exercising and working regularly he felt that he should look into it as Jaime has never really had any serious illness. The doctor said it was migraines after a few tests. However, Jaime insisted on an MRI. It revealed two tumors, one very large and one small. Two days later, he had an operation to extract one which was sent to a lab for testing. The other was too deep and dangerous to access. Five days later, the results were back. It was not a tumor that originates in the brain... Instead it had metastasized from the lung and it was in fact malignant.
