Pennsylvania Brewmasters Bill Covaleski of Victory Brewing Company, Bill Moore of Lancaster Brewing and Brian O'Reilly of Sly Fox Brewing will join with beer industry legend and fourth-generation German-American brewmaster Bill Moeller. The panel will be moderated by Paul Kurtz, KYW Newsradio Anchor, and will discuss the history of Pennsylvania lager while the audience enjoys samples from breweries throughout the Commonwealth and various menu items.
Moeller has been both actively and peripherally involved in the brewing industry for some 64 years. He will speak about his extensive history in the industry as well as his family's involvement in a fascinating part of many local breweries.

His career was interrupted during World War II by his service in the Unites States Merchant Marine Corps. He is one of the last brew master to have served in the war.
In addition to Drewery's and Boyertown Brewery, he has worked as a brew master or a consultant for many important breweries, including Reading Horlacher, Ortleib, Schmidt, Brooklyn, Dock Street, Tun Tavern and Poor Henry's Hoboken.
His beers have received medals in national and international competitions. In 2013, Consumer Reports selected his Brooklyn Lager as one of the best lagers in America and in 1996 rated it as the best beer in America. During the long course of his career he has written extensively on the scientific aspects of brewing and beer, along with the history and pairing of beer with the proper foods and occasionally hosting sit down beer dinners for the Wells Fargo Wealth Management Group.
